Is there any such thing? I don't care about making it look like a Steyr AUG, I just want a compact, handy .22LR.

I'd try Dixie Consolidated.  The Lp-3 is for normal barrels & the Lp-4 is for heavy ones.
I don't have one, but it looks to be made better than the P.O.S. muzzelite!
Just my 2 cents.

Ironwood Designs makes two, the goof (IMHO) "Aug"

and a beautiful replica of the Walther 2000 (!)

And while its not a 10/22, Walther themselves make an awesome .22lr bullpup, the G22

Dollars, LOTS of them. My credit card leapt from my wallet and fled when it saw me looking at that 2k.

Yeah try Dixie Con.
I think I saw one of theirs at RFC, with wrap-around finger grooved grips and a knock-off Aimpoint.

Looked like a fun rig.

What you have there is illegal!  Unless, of course, you have registered it an SBR (Short Barreled Rifle)

A "stocked" firearm must have a minumum barrel length of 16" and an overall length of 26"!!!

Now, I don't give a fig about what you have, or what you build, but what you are displaying may very well be in violation of the NFA act of 1934 and can subject you to the penalties of a Federal Felony!

MY GUESS would be that he KNOWS all of the laws, and that it is indeed registered as an SBR  you do know how easy it is to get one, right?  oh yea, i forgot that you know everything.
