hello! my bull barrel arrived yesterday...i would like to ask for your suggestion on what quality optics to buy for my new ruger 10/22.

I imagine the best would be a Swarovski or in that ball park. If you're talkin' reality, then the Nikon or Leupold is good. A lot of people have had good luck with Weaver as well.

Consider the Leupy VX-II 6-18x40mm Adj. Obj. (have one on a .22 & a .223)
 or the VX-II 4-12x40mm Adj. Obj.  |

...i was having some problems with the STIFF magnification adjustment of the Nikon.. what abou the Simmons? i was being lured to get the Rifleman series or VariX-1 of Leupold.... but do anyone here have an experience on them especially the stiffness of the magnification adjustment? thank you!

the mag adjustments are not too tight and not too loose.
