I just ordered the Krinker Plinker 16" barrel. Should be here in about 5 days. Anyone else have one?

UPDATE:
Well my Krinker Plinker came in yesterday and I began to work on it. The instructions say it can be assembled in 20mins, forget it. It will take longer. Some observations.

1. The pistol grip was hard to install, spend a lot of time on it, finally got it. Patience and perserverance. But once installed fits pretty good to the hand.
(The instructions say to install the stock/receiver assembly then install the pistol grip, I found it easier to install the pistol grip first then the stock/receiver assembly)

2. A small screw which secures the ventilated barrel shroud didn't go all the way into the predrilled hole. Thus interfering with the the top rail/rear sight assembly. The only way I saw to remedy this was to cut the screw making it shorter. But I haven't had time to test it, had to work the late shift.

3. The metal folding stock is well made albeit rather short.

4. Like the Butler Creek folding stock, it has a single loop on the left side for a sling.

5. Everything else is installed and went together okay. Overall the Krinker Plinker is well made(except for the noted problems) and I look foward to shooting it this weekend.

6. Will report back next week about how it shot.

Did anyone else experience and problems assembling thier Krinker Plinkers?

do stock AK parts fit onto their kit without modifications?

The upper handguard on mine is cut down from an SKS handguard. The other pieces are stock AK47 furniture that I bought on this board.

i have the 16 inch version - i love it very much
its much more enjoyable to shoot than the stock 10/22
i bought a cheap 4 pos AR15 stock with the intention of installing it and an AR p-grip on it
but  after getting the kit realized that the stock is Welded and Loctited on
which is a bummer because to change the stock to anything else sort of comprimises
the chassis strength or maybe integrity
ive been considering having a block of steel machined to fit in there
and allow the use of other stocks - just havent gotten around tuit

i was slightly disappointed when i found this out
but its my own fault for buying the extra stuff before i even had the thing
its still sweet tho, the romy folder is growing on me
im contemplating buying a used ak top cover and
cutting it down to fillin the gap btw the rear of the chassis and the sight thingy
but im really just too lazy

Hello Bell,

Is the fake surpressor a cover over a longer barrel, or is it an extension to the short one?
