That is a SANBORN 50 ROUNDER witha steel lip,  I think it was made back in 1986

I think he/she means Sanford. I am curious who inletted your stock for the larger profile  barrel and how strong the stock is now it has been inletted?

I took a dremel  and spent  an hour just taking my time with it , not hurrying ,it came out really good everything fits tight  , I did not have to  grind off much of the stock. It is a  really solid shooter.

nice looking rifle but wouldnt the bipod mounted onto the barrel defeat the purpose of it being a sniper rifle

So would the collapsible stock with no cheekrest,  50 rd mag, and the red dot sight.

I don't think the barrel would flex much without another 200 or so lbs. pressure on it but the bi-pod
would definitely affect any harmonics.

Still a cool rifle though.

IT really is a pretty solid rifle  when  i put on the 3.9X40  nikon  it s even better,with the red-dot your limited on how far you can see, no magnification
