Does anyone make a "straight" or "stick" mag for the 10/22?

The banana style is a little too skinny to look cool in my opinion.

I can't seem to find one online.

.22LR is rimmed, that makes the ass end bigger than the body.  Hence, you need the curve.

Lay 25 shells on a table and try to make a straight stack - you can't, the bodies will come together and form a curve

You won't get a straight stick, best you might do is an angled one.

I'm not aware of any made.

The only way it would be possible would be to taper the front of the magazine and flare the rear, so that the bullets rest one on top of the other and the rims spread out staggered.  It would take some oddball geometry to get it to work reliable....  probably possible though.   Feather Arms 20-rd magazine for the AT-22 was a stick mag that angled - sort of swept-back.

I remember seeing a 10/22 mag that was stright and took 25rd (i think so) but it placed them in a U pattern.  Still stacked them on top of each other but went down and then back up.  Kind of like a Beta style drum but stick.  I'm trying to find a picture.  I'll post one if i ever fine it.

That's a drum with a rotary belt.  We're talking straight mags...spring fed.  Looks like a stick, hence the thread title.

Yeah, I figured.  This forum is just a last resort for when I can't find something anywhere else.

Oh, well.  Time to work on the Mossberg.
