Tarus makes one in blue or stainless that is nice but the sights are not great.For a mechanical action I would recomend the Ruger 96/22mag lever action. Very short stroke so you can stay on target.

The top pic is a Aimpoint 5000 red dot.
The bottom pic is a Loopie 2.5x EER Scout scope. They are both very fast to get on target, but leave something to be desired when long shots present themselves. I just wish I could find a scout scope (EER) that was adjustable up past 7x. That 22 WMR will shoot flat past 100yds and its frustrating to not have the glass to see that far. |
