Anyone have the opprotunity to try out the Blackhawk ISSAK rifle set-up? It seems to have the same design I use with regular LBE/web gear except with a few extras and the fact that everything is sewn in place. Would cost about the same as purchasing the entire rig in seperate pieces. Any opinions or experiences either way?

Thanks!

For the same $300 I would rather get the D.O.A.V. Assault vest. The ISSAK type of gear I could build using a H- harness, pistol belt, and an assortment of pouches for a lot less than the 300 bucks that Blackhawk wants.

Ya thanks. I probably will just put together my own set-up. The ISSAK is nice but it does have a small bit more than I need, and no flexibility in terms of swapping out pieces when I need to. I like the DOAV, especially the fact that I can wear a pistol high (rather than thigh tied) and still have complete access to it. But that rig is for another time and place.
