My buddy has been running TYR plates for quite a while and says that he's bought something like 3 sets whenever they have deals. I've never seen ballistic testing of them, but TYR is a good company, and I trust their products. That's a good deal on the plates, as long as you want size large. IF you plan on putting them in another carrier, just make sure they're going to fit. |

i have bought 3 sets of the mediums when they had them on sale. first thing is, the info on the webpage is completely wrong. the plates are nij tested, they are paraclete, and they are lighter than they say they are. this is a super awesome deal and you should jump on it. if you search around on here, there are a few other threads on these exact plates and this deal with pics of the plates.
