I have the same question and you're just the guy. I'm also not a giant (5'5 145) and was wondering if the PIG slims down to a tight fit

I'd suggest a diamondback, blue force gear, or mayflower in size small with small plates.

I'm 5'7", 140 lbs, and I have a small Crye JPC. It's a pretty awesome size. Not too much extra besides what's needed. It is kind of pricey though.

I'm 5'9", 175lbs.  I might have a little more bulk than you, but I still tend to feel like I'm swimming in most kit.  I'd like to second (or third) the Mayflower APC.

Im running AR500 steel plates have been despalled with herculiner. They are 10"x12" advanced shooters cut. I only have the front plate currently but will soon be getting the back plate. If it helps i wear a 34R suit jacket.

Then it doesn't matter how small you are, you're stuck with a plate carrier that carries 10"12" (medium) plates.

Thanks for this topic. It will help me for when Im ready to buy a new PC, as I am 5'10" 120lbs with a 30-32 inch waist.

I currently use a Condor QR from CTD, although it was inexpensive and will work for awhile. Its just such a pain in the butt to put on and remove. I want something with a clip or buckle. Are cummerbunds useful? It makes it hard to draw from OWB holster when wearing the current vest. I have to lean forward and to the left.

I'm 6'1", 145lb. I wear a small IOTV or an Eagle Assault Plate carrier / LBT 6094. I wear S/L BDU pants or 30/34 jeans.

Here is the Eagle PC. It's pretty snug and I still have room to tighten it down a little more. No side plates either.

The condor quick release fits you?? Because i was considering that one because of the price but was worried itd be too big.

Yes, it does fit me but there are some things I dont like about it. 1. Its a little to bulky. 2. You have to un-velcro the front to put it on. Which isnt very quick if you need it in a hurry. 3. I folded the sides in because its hard to draw from OWB when those are there. Ill take a picture of what I mean. Price was good but I should have researched it a little bit more. Because an extra $60-70 I could have go a Banshee. Which looks a little bit quicker to put on in an emgerency. Oh well I know for next time. Id rather have buckles/clips vs velcro sides.

Personally, If I knew before I purchased I would have spent the extra $70 and got the Banshee.

Thats what Ill be buying next. I have front and back curved ar500 steel and a Kevlar panel from US Palm. Will I be able to fit both of this in there? They are all 10x12.

The PIG does slim down but for your size I would highly recommend the Mayflower APC. It is a really great PC for the Money. The Navy EOD guys I was just working with all wore it and loved it.

SOS

Alright, I've settled on the Mayflower. Now when are you going to have the coyote in stock?
