So, I know I need to get a pair of gloves for general use and eventually 3 gun. Hatch is a name that comes up a lot.

Any opinions on these?

Hatch Operator CQB Tactical gloves

I have several pair.  They are great for tactical applications and working around the house/shop.  They are fitted so you can manipulate weapons, they are cut resistant, and pretty good for cold weather.  My only issue has been with the elastic stretching out around  the wrist area.  I need to be more gentle when pulling them on or off.

I can't speak to the model you posted but I buy Hatch Specialist Gloves (non-lined) 3 or 4 pair at a time.  I usually go through a pair a year.  I initially used them as shooting gloves.  Then I got to liking them for winter gloves.  Now I use them when I ride as well.  However they are not good for riding in the cold as they let the cold air right through the neoprene at high speeds.

Anyway, the synthetic material on the palm/fingers tends to wear away with heavy use but I could care less.  For under $20 a pair compared to the grip and tactile (I guess tactical as well) ability these things give me I'll keep buying them until I find something better.  The velcro does not get ratty.

I have an older pair of those in OD green. I really like them. They allow pretty good fine manipulation, but you're not going to be picking up quarters with them. Mine have the elastic cuff and also came with a removable velcro band you can use to wear them tighter. I've had them over a year and have put them through 9-10 hard uses and am finally getting some ripping in the right hand index finger. I bought these when I lost my pair of SOLAG gloves and am glad I got these.

I'm surprised no one has suggested just buying Mechanix gloves. A lot of people prefer them, but I've heard their quality has declined slightly ever since they began marketing to the .mil crowd.

I've always used some variety of Mechanix or Damascus gloves. FYI copquest has a lot of gloves on closeout right now.

This. The Specialist are my day in day out patrol gloves. Great for shooting, searching, fence hopping, etc. They replaced a pair of Blackhawk leather gloves that are in the range bag now. They don't come out too often, I usually grab the Specialists first.
