A buddy of mine had a garage sale today and I bought a pack from him. Is this the cfp 90? It doesn't have the detachable patrol pack on it, but for what I paid for it, who cares.
 $30, new.

Good find. Yes, it's the CFP 90. Check on Armygear.net for the patrol pack that mates to it. Also, watch the metal stays where they slot into the bottom near the kidney pad. We used to have to tie 550 cord around the bottom to keep them from pulling loose.

Thanks, that's what I thought. The patrol pack is no biggie, I've got a couple butt packs I can attach to it. Damn thing is big enough as it is....if I filled it up I'm not sure I'd want to carry it anyway.

Yeah, these were the last packs made before they went to covering every inch with PALS. I loved this pack and was pissed when our squadron made us turn them in to DRMO and we bought the old Blackhawk patrol packs, Made in Vietnam!
