For $200, you get a plastic digital watch with a compass and an attempt at a ballistic computer.
all the other features are available on any $5 walmart watch.

One feature I have to have in a watch is that its analog... I really dont like digital watches and haven't found one yet that I like.

+1 on the Casio.
I've been wearing the Casio Pathfinder PAW-1300 Green (similiar to the 1200) for two years now. I have used it in all kinds of terrain and weather conditions. "Hiking" above 6500 ft in the mountains and humping around in the jungle of Guatemala, taking altitude and compass readings was easy and very helpful. The only caution I have is that it is rated as "water resistant". I wouldn't swim with it on or shower with it on. Other than that I have gotten it wet and it still works perfectly. You can't beat the automatic sync with the atomic clock each night or you can manually sync it any time of the day. As soon as this one shits the bed I'll go out and buy another one.

You get what you pay for. Good watches that can take a beating is well worth it's weight in coins and won't let you down when you need it to work.

Here is a green one going now, PAW 1300.  Left cold...

And here are the available BIN Items.  If you are not in a huge rush, take your time and keep checking.  There are usually several going on most of the time.  Don't forget the Bing search engine discount if you buy one from evilbay.

I found my answer the 1300 is solar powered and the other is not I wish the pag40 was solar powered or the 1300 had the compass display of the pag40.  Please post some reviews of your pathfinder so I know which one to get.

Thanks.

They are all solar, and I saw one green one used on auction as well.  Here is a reference, looks like paw 80's, and any model above paw 1100 (so 1100, 1200, 1300, etc.) are all solar models.
