Gents,
I like the Spec ops cqb 6 mag pouch, but i need to carry 8 magazines so i figure buying two x4 mag pouches would be the best alternative.
Soo,
has anyone seen a 4 mag version of this
6 mag pouch
I need it open top with molle webbing. And please, no cheap crap, I plan on taking this to deployment and can't have nylon ripping on me during a long sweaty patrol.
I've looked at spec ops' mout chest rig, but i want to be able to split 8 mags down the middle.

Thanks again

Just something to think about. If you use 4 2x mag pouches side by side, you will have much better "flex" then if you went with a large shingle. I ran a large 6 mag shingle for awhile and switched out to 3 2x mag pouches. I found that this setup conformed to the curve of my body and armor better - IMHO. It worked for me, just something to think about.

good point on the flex thing, same thing just happened to me, i replaced a double pouch with 2 singles, same reason though.

Agreed with the above posts, why 1 4x instead of 2x2 or 4 shingles?  Ever had to go prone with that sort of pouch pushing your shit up?  Plus, the distribution of weight is much more comfortable with multiple pouches spread out.

As it is, I've never seen a 4x pouch like that.  Maybe a SAW pouch of some sort?  Those normally hold 6 though.  Tactical Tailor makes 3x's I think.  Might try that.

i left my card at work.

i got a 5.11  small panel and added 4, 2 shingle open top pouches.  it is very minimalist.   i will post post monday.

sorry, i thought i had a pic of the rig by itself not with my stupid rifle on it.

it is very small not much larger than the mags.  let me know if you need more.

TAG has something pretty close to what you're describing.

This HSGI pouch is pretty close, too.
