Take that cute little cord, pull it up the sides and tighten it up and it'll hold up the sides of the brim up and put you Peltors/Comtacs on over it and it should fit. You get a littel less ear and side of your neck protection from your boonie but it'll work.

My boonie cap is just a hair bigger than a perfect fit, and it allows me to wear it over my over-the-head ear-pro....if it's windy, I just use the cinch cord, cinched down, around the lower back of my head.
I can still wear my boonie cap without the ear-pro, it just sits a little lower on my head. |

+1 for going with the cowboy look on peltors + boonie hat. They'll keep your ears from getting sunburned while your brim is curled up.
