Are they ballistically rated like the Pasgt, i mean, do they offer the same protection from..bullets as the pasgt offers (Yes minimal, i know)

It depends on which one.
The older ones were very thin and only offered some fragment protection only.  they might be able to stop a low velocity lead wadcutter from a .38 Special.
The newer version of those are thicker and are about as protective as the PASGT.
The newest ones used on Strykers I'm not too sure about.  I think they are about the same though.

The newer ones are kevlar and rated the same or better than the PASGT. Bloody heavy compared to the older ones.
