Decided on the Eagle Industries Plate Carrier w. Cummerbund.  Plan on getting 10"x12" steel Kejo plates: http://www.bodyarmorcompany.com/retail/products.php?productID=92 Is the size of the plate carrier based on the size of the plates or my height & weight?  I'm about 5'11" & 180lbs.  Thanks!

The size of the plates determines the size of the carrier, not the size of the person. You'll the the L/XL carrier.

I have the large with 10x12 steel plates and it fits me great.  I'm 6 foot and 215 lbs.  They have a lot of ajustments.

Correct. If you do not have plates yet Eagle recommends ordering by your blouse size.
