[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone using the HSGI Drop Leg Magazine Carrier / Single Platform? What knife did you mount?

What knife did you use in the space provided between the vetical strap and the AR15 mag pouch?
What kind of sheath did you get that fits?

See the link for the platform I am talking about:

There is another platform with just a double pouch for AR15 mags only that also has the knife pocket, you can see the knife position better in this link:

So same question for that rig.

JMO, it looks like that would be a very bulky item to wearing on the leg.

The single is not too bad at all. The double is definitely a bit much unless you need the heavy load and have the physical ability to haul it. As for knife choice, any 6" blade or so would do just fine.

A Glock knife since there isn't much room in a single & the Glock setup is very slim.

I cary a folder and a leatherman. You just can not bury yourself in gear. If youve burned that much ammo, what is the point of a huge fu&in knife? Rule out a knife fight.
