Does anyone have an opinion on a good pair of very low profile electronic earmuffs or perhaps even electronic ear plugs?

I'd like to upgrade to this type of hearing protection but I have trouble with bulky earmuffs hitting the buttstock of my rifles.

Is there a product that offers electronic protection and solves the buttstock problem?

Peltor's are the Big Name brand.  Really good stuff.  Haven't tried one of the ebay knock-offs but  they can be alot cheaper.  Most are 85DB rated and amplify any  sound lower than that and shut off if anything over that is heard.  You can also find them w/ Radios built in.  Both FM and cords for 2-ways.
