I got the idea from the movie "Heat."

You get one of these:  lightfighter.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=TT-069!005&csurl=/istar.asp?a%3D3%26dept%3DLOADCA

And attach a few of these:  lightfighter.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=TT-055!005&csurl=/istar.asp?a%3D3%26dept%3DPOUCHE%26class%3DRIFPOC%26sortby%3D%26numperpage%3D28

And wear a jacket over the whole thing to conceal your mags.  Maybe even get a discreet rifle case with a sports logo embroidered onto it.

I figured that it couldn't hurt to be inconspicuous.

What do you guys think?

why not just get your plate carrier Hellcat or Tomcat and it will be just the same without having to put it together

OK, I just looked at the Hellcat carriers.  Where's a good place to get one of these?

Do you think that one of the pouches could double as a holster, or would it be better to just get the internal holster?

And, how many pistols mags do you think one pouch could hold?

most operators use the safariland drop leg holster

pistol mag pouch you would add to the front

Do you happen to own one, 1Gunner?  Can you comment on their quality?

Do you think they would conceal easily over a jacket?

I've seen a guy with one at a local blast fest, highly recommended it and was a gear fanatic, and saw pictures of its use in a blackwater class
With the mags inserted I think it would appear you would have a pretty good gut but still resoanable.  I think the streamlining effect of having the pouches built in is a plus
