I am interested in the Blackhawk double mag pouch with talon flex.  Can you put these both vertical and horizontal on a duty belt?  Also lightfighter.com says it fits all standard mags.  Does this mean I can swap between my double stack Glock 17 mags and my single stack 1911 .45 mags?  Thanks.

The answer is no you can not switch between the two. It has a type of plastic that holds the mag through friction and is for that mag only.
By standard I think he means standard pistol models mags nothing off the wall like Hi point or Lorcin,Jennings, odd ball shit.

But I could be wrong I have been wrong before.

Brad,

I was looking at the Eagle MLCS pistol mag pouches on your website, but it looks like they only make them for the M9.  What would you recommend for 1911 mags?  Looking for a similar design (nylon with internal kydex or other friction system).

Thanks.  I will order some next week.

Off topic but do you know if your Safariland 6004 drop leg holsters can be removed from the leg shroud and attached to a safariland UBL on  a duty belt?  I called safariland and the lady told me you could with some of them I just had to make sure it had the correct three hole pattern on the back to fit the ubl.

I have a 6280 on my duty belt now but in high gloss.  Safarlind has a new belt attachment thing they call the UBL that is a plastic piece that you slide on the belt and you can change holsters and use the same UBL.  I was wanting to get a drop leg holster and wanted to know if I could take the holster off of the drop leg shroud and attach it to the UBL on my nylon gear.  This is where I called Safariland and the lady told me you could do it with some of the 6004 holsters but not all and I would just have to make sure the 6004 holster I got had the three allen head screws on the back of it that attached it to the shroud and that they worked with the UBL on the 6280.  Maybe you could try it for me?  Does that make more sense?
