Hi Hawkeye,
Regarding vision, there are a number of good glasses out there for shooting that wont affect your vision adversely. We carry Bolle Sports Eyewear System glasses that were issued at one point by the Army Marksmanship Unit for their optical clarity. Or, if you're happy with your Oakleys, have you considered getting a dedicated pair for shooting with interchangeable lenses? Good, comfortable protection for your eyes is always money well spent. I dont think you will ever be upgrading in clarity with any Goggle.
As far as fogging goes, If your Oakley's got fogged up during your last class, I'd bet dollars to donuts that the T-800s will get fogged up as well. They breath better than any other Goggle out there b/c they are open-framed, but they wont vent
better than glasses.
Of course they look different on everyone, but the T-800s in particular tend to stick out to the side (much less of an issue with a helmet on). I look ugly no matter what I put on, so it's a non- issue
But when things tend to stick out, not only do they tend to look funny, but they also tend to come in contact with or interfere with things that can affect shooting a particular family of firearms.
Sorry you hate glasses so much bro- I hate wearing them to, but I hate getting things in my eyes even more!
