Picked up an 1100 (older pre-ban) for a song d/t minor bbl pitting from H2O damage during storage. Cleaned, oiled & TLC'd it back to good functioning shape, now I'm thinking about doing a series of tactical mods on it - similar to the Wilson Combat K-9 series(since they won't do mods to customer 1100's - no E-mail response)

Pistol Grip fixed stock (Speedfeed III?)
Ghost Ring sights
Sidesaddle
Oversized Safety
Mag Extension
BBL to 20"
E-Z Load Feed Ramp
Light equipped forend

Anybody else got any ideas/tips/suggestions?

I remember hearing a few years ago about a firing pin that had spiral flutes in it, supposedly to spin the pin and keep carbon from fouling and causing FTF's. Any ideas?

(of course, this may all be a pipe dream - the wife kinda likes it and has been talking about a skeet gun, so...we'll seehanks

Be careful with the SideSaddle.  It is easy to overtighten the screws that hold it on and cause the action to jam.

That thing with the sidesaddle is more applicapble with the alloy reciver of the Benelli shotguns than with the steel recievers of the Remington guns.  I have side saddles on an 870, 1100. and 11-87 Police and have no problems.
