I just finished doing my pistol grip conversion, made a couple of mistakes, but manged to pull it off anyway, but with much more swearing. While I was putting it all back together I noticed something potentially dangerous, I don't know if I screwed up, or if it's normal and I just didn't notice it before. Does the safety lever always disengage the sear when it's rotated all the way up for removal? With the cover on it won't go, but when the hammer drops unexpectedly it makes me wonder. Thanks for your help.

Mine doesn't drop the hammer when you move the safety up for removal

hm.... thanks. Maybe the new trigger setup just different enough, back to the drawing board.

ETA: The fix was easy, apparently the Tromix fire control group components aren't a perfect match (the after market disconnector is too big) to the Saiga 12, so the safety would press it forward enough to release the trigger. Nothing a dremel can't handle. 5 minute fix.
