I have never heard of any issues, and it comes highly recommended. However, I still feel the need to ask. Other than installation (which I will update you all tomorrow on how that works out for me...), has anyone had a problem with this? I know a friend of mine did with it coming loose until he lok-tited it (user error, as he admits), but nothing else. Has anyone ever had this thing go TU even after lok-tite or anything?

Replacing the release isn't so bad, I removed my stocker in a couple of minutes, including dissassembly and careful assessment of the situation with no instructions.

My GG&G came in today, it was installed easily in less than 15 minutes. I really like it.

I have the Celtic Mist Machining bolt release pad (50 bucks and it also comes with a new shell release latch) and it has been 100% so far.

The GG&G unit will probably work very well, but it is pricey. Should last a long time though!

To be honest, it looks good, and functions exactly as designed, but when I go to charge the bolt, the way I perform that operation causes me to abraid my finger on the GG&G's surface. It is too large imho. I removed it due to this.

Another word of advice. Do NOT use RED lok-tite. Go with purple or something weak. I think I am probably going to sell the tapped GG&G/Benelli bolt-stop, the GG&G button/screw are...kaput.

I suppose I COULD buy a new button.screw and sell it as very lightly used and re-coup roughly 2/3 cost or something. I dunno. THis is one of those "it looked good" "It did what it shoulda" "It was solid" "I personally just didn't get along with it" mods.

Meh Went back to the stocker and am happier.

I come from up-top, hook it with the index finger of my right-hand, and the upper edge of the GG&G serrations would tear the first joint on my finger up. Same result using my pinki on the same hand coming from underneath with my palm up/pinki hooked.

The way the Celtic Mist Machining button is done, is that its got some circular cutouts in it, but it doesn't have a huge amount of grip.

When I hit the bolt release, I put the shell in the side, then slide my fingers down under the receiver and over the bolt release button and hit it on my way back.

There doesn't need to be a whole lot of friction on the pad to engage it, but the surface area is nice....

60 bucks for the CMM button, and It (like the GG&G) comes with a drilled & tapped shell stop latch.

The new CM button (while cheaper) is the same size as the GG&G, if not bigger.
