i ordered 75rds. from an online vendor. i ordered Fed. 132-00buck, but i recieved Fed. 133-00buck. im not worried about replacing it or whatnot, but im just curious what the difference is. i cant seem to find any info on Fed 133-00buck. how are the two loads different?

the box says ' Federal Tactical 12guage 2 3/4", 8 pellets, 00buck, LE133 00'

Difference is number of pellets.

If you go to le.atk.com ... that is federals law enforcement site you can search it there, but a copy and paste will see that the are basically the same with the pellet count being the difference.  1145 is the muzzle velocity.

One might be low recoil. The fact that the LE133 only has 8 pellets is weird, since the hotter 00 Buck loads usually have 9 pellets and the slower "magnum" loads have 12 pellets in the 2 3/4" size. Maybe this is a faster load? I checked Fed's latest shotgun ammo page and those numbers were not listed, so they are probably leftovers from a few years back.

Both loads are considered "low recoil" according the federal's site ...

Aha, so it's a low recoil (low power) round with only 8 x 00/33-cal pellets. I'd rather use #1 buck with 16/30-cal pellets, with the potential for twice the number of hits.
