can an eotech be attached to a weaver 93 rail?

i have a benelli m2 that was predrilled and tapped for a scope.   i have to use a weaver rail, in order to make use of the factory holes.  can i  mount an eotech directly to this?

The EOTech should mount to any weaver or 1913 rail.  I put mine right on top of a flattop AR.  You can also buy better mounts that the factory EOTech, which is either a thumbscrew, or a allen bolt.  GG&G makes a nice product called the ACCUCAM, which replaces the screw with a lever.  ARMS makes several mount that could be used.  LaRue makes a mount, but it has an annoying step mount behind the sight, which is for a back up sight for AR's, and would be of no use on a shotgun.
