Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rem 870 Tac, Price check please

To all you guru's out there, I'm looking to pick up a shotgun and after a little looking around I've found an 870 tactical at a local shop priced around 340.  I'm a bit green when it comes to SG so I thought I'd ask those who might know, is that a pretty fair price?  What have you guys who have bought something comparable paid?

I have no idea what the going price is, but for a few dollars more than that you can buy a basic Remington 870P Police model, and have a better gun.

340 is good.  I think that is what I paid for mine.
