This news made me happy. so I thought I'd share it:
I have a friend who works as a law clerk for a circuit judge. I sold this friend my pimped-out Remington 870 Express last year because I needed the cash. 20" barrel w/rifle sights, extended magazine, SureFire, sidesaddle, and a Butler Creek folder (yeah, it weighs a ton) It turns out he needed some cash, too, and he later sold it to a deputy who works in the sheriff's home confinement office.
So I was chatting with my friend today, and he told me that since the deputy started carrying the shotgun with him when he goes to arrest home confinement prisoners who have violated their terms, he hasn't had a single one who has tried to flee/resist. Apparently, this was not the case before.
I was pretty proud of myself for having a hand in this...
