Does anybody make a bolt action shotgun?   I did see one at a gun shop but it seemed very old and not very well designed.

My Dad had a Marlin Goosemaster 12ga years ago. He bought the gun as a joke because he friends accused him that only reason why he hit so many birds hunting was because he used a 20" barrel.  So, he bought the Marlin which had a 32" barrel for $85.

It was not that great, but it was good for trap.

Today there are a few gun makers that still make bolt action shotguns. Browning had a 12ga A-Bolt set up for rifled slugs for deer hunting.

Savage has a bolt action and Mossberg used to...do know if they still do.

I have one.
Mossberg 385KA or something like that.
Bolt action 20 gauge, c-lect choke, and removable 2 round mag.
Was my grandfathers - I assume pre-68 as it has no serial number.

Decent gun - good for birds and that sort of thing.
