I finally finished my Remington 870 project, shown here with it's matching little brother Glock 22.  The color on the guns is Duracoat Underbrush.  The work was done by Kyle Munson of GunCoat Northwest.  Kyle and his brother did an excellent job on this project.  The finish turned out better than I expected!  Kyle answered every one of my million annoying questions without batting an eye, and is very knowledgeable about every aspect of Duracoat refinishing....Kyle is an outstanding guy with great skill, and will work hard to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for, all in a quick turn-around time.....I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have anything refinished...he can be contacted at www.guncoat.com

It looks like they did a really good job.  The color selection is interesting, why did you choose it?

I wanted something different...can't stand having what others have...and there are too many browns and OD's out there...this is a very light tan..looks really good in person

That color is killing my eyes!!! The shot gun looks awesome!!! Color choice is understandable and in person probably looks sweet.  It'll be envy on the range for sure when it comes out.  Nice job!

I was just curious how you got to do your Glock.  It looks very nice.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did that cost altogether? Not the finish alone, but the stock, pistol grip, and rail. I'm interested because I've been thinking about the FN Tactical shotgun, but that looks much better to me.

Did it start life as an 870P, or a different model?

By the way, that is one hell of a shotgun!

SST-870 From Calvery Arms

Theres your stock/rail the forgrip is a surefire *you probably guessed that* the SST-870 runs around 150 *I think* plus grip and buttstock.

Very nice.

I met Kyle when he worked at Fisherman's Marine and Outdoors.  Great guy and I'm happy to hear his business is taking off.

As for you #1, we going to see (share) your new toys at TriCounty?  Come on over to the Oregon Hometown form.

damn
What kind of rearend does that puppy have?  Specifically, the part that mates the 1913 rail, pistol grip, and buttstock together. Nevermind, SST-870

My 590 looks like crap compared to that.

Nice guns, nice pic. Maybe I should make my 870 and G22 twins.....

Hmmmm

Like the colors too. I'm sure they look better in person.

I wonder how that set-up would work with a Vltor rifle-length Modstock? Think the LOP would be ok?

Although I usually agree with Henry Ford on colors ("Any color, so long as it's black"), that is a pretty sweet lookin' shotgun.

BTW:  Drop by the Hometown forum once in a while.  We're going to a Machingun shoot in june...

Ok why would you bump this? Are you trying to advertise for the guy who refinished your guns? I dont really see a need for a bump.

Have you given that collaspable SGN stock a good workout at a 2 or 3 days SGN course yet? I'm curious about the cheek weld.

It would work, but I would opt for the A1 length. Remember the adaptor has a setback on it, so you wouldn't want the stock to long.
