Wondering if I can send my 870 home security model in and get it turned into an 870 Max? I already have the gun, I just want them to add the 618 light and the blade and ghost ring sights. They can keep the stock, I love my Spec Ops.

Has anyone done this with other 870s and turned them into different models?

I don't know if Remington will do that kind of work, but Robar does:

Brownells sells a lot of the Wilson parts, so you can do-it-yourself.

I like Robar and Wilson, always heard the highest praise for them, but the amount of money they charge for it would allow me to just buy an 870P Max NIB, assuming I could find one for sale.
