Since everyone and his brother seems to want the pistol grip stocks, almost new "field" stocks should be easy to find with a WTB add or three in the EE here and a couple other places. I happen to like the field stock, so you cannot have mine! If you are willing to do a swap for your pistol grip I think you will fine quite a few guys ready to accomodate you.
Changing is as easy as removing the recoil pad and then the nut holding the stock on, replacing the stock and reversing the process. You can download the Manual with instructions here (Page 57 of the M1 manual) www.benelliusa.com/customer-service/manuals.tpl |

I want to keep both grips so I will put a note in EE. Worked on getting me a H&K mag.
