870 has the most aftermarket parts, 500 is the least expensive and has ALMOST as many aftermarket parts, saiga 12 is the coolest and most reliable but doesn't have many aftermarket parts YET...

Plus if you dont mind used, you can find an 870 in a pawn shop for next to nothing.
I picked up an old wingmaster, no vent rib barrel for 100 bucks. Sent it to Wilson, they did the Scattergun thing to it, and the thing rocks. Then Vangcomp it, at least the forcing cone deal, I'm not really into the barrel ports, but to each his own. You do that, you'll have the shotgun o doom... Wilson rebuild on 870 and Vang Comp |

Remington 870, DUH Get an 870P if possible, thats the Police model |

Those new OD 870s look pretty cool. I almost walked out of a gun show this weekend with one, but I passed it up.
