Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - I'm looking for a rail to mount to the top of my 870P receiver (drill & tap) for a sight.

I've seen a lot of stuff available out there, but nothing that specifically says it's for a remington 870 rceiver.  I don't want one that attaches through the trigger pins.  I'm lookin for a simple rail that can be drilled & tapped to be mounted specifically on the 870 receiver.  Anyone have any suggestionss?

The top of the 870 receiver can be a bit thin for durable drilling and tapping. Have you considered having a base / rail silver soldered to the top of the receiver? Works great.
