I had a jungle gun several years ago. Awesome gun, congrats! What do they run these days? I haven't been able to find one out here in GA.

I got a Choate Extended tube from Brownells. As for the TacStar Side Saddles for the 500/590, weel they dont fit, but I've heard of a modification that will allow it to work.

Choate makes mag tube extensions for the semi Mossbergs. I've got the 10 shot version (9+1) on my M5500 (forerunner to the 9200).
The trigger group is different than the M500 & M590 so the sidesaddle is a no go. If you were the DIY WECSOG type you could mod a scope mount into a sidesaddle. |

I picked it up at a gun show used for 220. Most of the ones i've seen run in the 450-500 range, new. I think there are a few for sale on Gunbroker.com. Which mag extension should I pick up from brownells for the 18.5 inch barrel? Also, where do I find out how to do the mod for the side saddle?

The 2 shot model fits flush with the 18.5 barrel, and the 3 shot sticks out a bit.
As for the Side Saddle mod, I think I read about it here. |

One more question...the M9200A1 I bought was supposedly a police trade in. I'm guessing that most departments run a good deal of rounds through their guns, so I was wondering, what parts should I replace just for good measure? I imagine the springs and firing pin, but are there any other parts I should be concerned with?

Most police departments run very few rounds through their guns other than qualifying. The finish on police trade ins are usually a little beat up but the innards are usually like new. And for $220 you got a great deal.
