Before you start adding "gingerbread" that you may, or may not decide to keep and use after some hands-on experience with it, I would suggest spending some money on several hundred rounds of various ammo and several hours actually shooting and handling your shotgun as it is right now. This will do several things for you...all positive.
A) It will familarize you with the handling and shooting / patterning characteristics of YOUR specific shotgun
B) It will give you a much better idea of what you do or do not want to add as far as "accessories"
Optics...well, some guys here seem to really like them, so I don't want to come off as too much of a dinosaur, but my opinion is that, for me, I don't see much need for them right now...but I will never say "never"...I just might be persuaded differently.
