Local shop has one of these sitting on the wall. Looks new. Has a choate stock on it. Clearly marked Police on the side.

Owners claims (and showed me in a price book) that remington claims this gun was never available to civilians. They got one from a LE of course (supposedly). $600 on it.

Is this shotgun worth 600$? I have a buddy who is very interested in it.

There are three on Gunbroker and they all look to be over $700.  One is NIB for sure.  Can't tell about the others.

If that is NIB that is a great price. If not I would say 500-600 would be fair. MIKE.

How reliable is the 11-87 series? I really need a good shotgun to finish off my trio. Was going to get a mossberg 500 or a winchester 1300 BUT supposedly I would loose before I started with a pump in a 3 gun shoot.
