My dad is getting older and gave me a couple of his guns. One was a Ted Williams 20ga
model 300. I don't think he shot it much, looks brand new. Tried to find some info on these
guns, but could not find much on google. I think they were sold thru Sears and made by
Winchester? It has the adj choke on the end of the barrel, does that make a big difference in
how it shoots. I have'nt got a chance to try it out yet.

Yes Ted Williams was Sears brand before they quit selling guns and actually had a Sporting goods dept.

Thanks everyone for the help. Can't wait to go try it out. He also gave me a
winchester pump 22 which should be alot of fun to shoot.

Winchester 140 or 1400
I had a model 140 "Ranger" semi-auto and it was a great gun.
Some of the 1400s are marked on the receiver.
My 140 only had a serial.

the Ted Williams 300 from sears was my first shotgun at age 6-7......fun fun gun had it for 11yrs before I sold it for my first mossberg 590...before me it was my dads garage/backdoor gun...
