Old 1100s were EITHER 2 3/4" OR 3", not both. Newer ones might have had a gas regulator, but afaik they were 11-87s. The 2 3/4" are usually worth more because they are more popular with trap shooters.

It has this barrel on it:
‡ NOTE: Model 1100 Steel Shot Barrels are designed for use with 2-3/4" or 3" Magnum steel or lead shot shells when used on Magnum receivers and 2-3/4" or 3" Magnum steel or 2-3/4" lead shotshells when used on non-Magnum receivers. |

I had two of them and they were 2 3/4 inch only
I don't remember them coming in both only the 870 took 2 3/4 and 3 inch that I know of |

Yeah, I was baffled to see an 1100 take both 2 3/4in and 3 in shells. Thanks for the info
