The 935 is a beast of a HUNTING autoloading shotgun. It does not shoot light target loads. This is a magnum game getter. It's sister, the 835 pump is also a beast. Both have overbored barrels to enhance patterns when using 3 1/3" mag loads for ducks, geese and turkeys. At this time Mossberg does not offer a deer barrel for the 935, only 28" barrels for wingshooting and 24" barrels for turkeys. You can not shoot rifled or sabot slugs out of the overbored barrels. The bore is so much larger that a slug could turn sideways and get stuck in the barrel. Mossberg does make deer barrels for the 835 pump. There are no after market tactical parts for the 935 or the 835. They are hunting guns. But they are good hunting guns if that is what you want. The recoil on the 835 pump with 3 1/2" shells has to be felt to be believed. I patterened one with five different turkey loads by leaning with my back to a pickup truck tire while wearing only a tee shirt. Holy Shit! That puppy kicks. The 935 eats up some of this recoil. MIKE.
