I'm thinking of getting a Speedfeed III or IV for my 11/87 Police, since it will be legal in a few days.  Anyone else doing this?

I'm going to put one on my Saiga 12.

m1014,
Is that an extended feed tube on that M4? Was it ever settled if it will be legal to put the extended shell tube and have a pistol grip stock after this ban, or is this weapon raped by the '89 import ban?

This is such bullshit that I'm afraid of the Government to come get me over something so gay.

Extended mag tube with pistol-grip stock (or fake telestock) will be legal.  Working telestock will still be illegal.

Why will it be illegal ??

I have a pistol grip (no stock) that I'll finally (legally)be able to put on my Mossy 5500 with ext mag.  It'll look kinda stupid....pistol gripped 28" barrel ext mag shotty but it has to be done (if only temporary) just to spite the VPC/Brady bunch.

Import ban of '89???  More than 10 foreign made major parts (barrel, receiver, stock, trigger group, etc) & the '89 ban applies.

What if I have ONLY 10 imported parts in my semi-auto shotgun and the rest of the parts are US compliant ?

HELL YEAH !!! I am real tired of using a "standard" stock on my 1187 (I'm selling its existing Speedfeed Mk1 buttstock here on the EE). I'm definitely installing a Choat PG stock ASAP.

You do understand that I was talking about the Benelli M1014 / M4 Super 90 shotgun, don't you? All the "evil" features will be allowed on American-made shotguns, just not the imports (unless you add enough domestic parts for the shotgun to be considered American-made.) And sadly, no one makes U.S. parts for the Benelli shotguns.

OK, I installed a Speedfeed IV-S (solid pistol grip stock, reduced length of pull) on the Remy.  It feels pretty good, but the front strap on the pistol grip is a bit too blocky for me.  It feels like the edge of a 2 by 4.  I haven't shot it yet.  I'll wait until then before passing judgement.  Maybe I should have gotten the Choate.  Anybody opinions on the Choate vs. Speedfeed?

Not for the M4S90, according to Benelli. They've been selling working telestocks as of 9/21/04, along w/ the specific M4S90 model that has the correct type recoil spring tube that allows the telestock to function. Myself, a dealer, & a few others here on the board (most notably ipguy) spoke directly w/ Benelli at length about this. They wouldn't be able do this if it weren't legal.

Strange, but true.
