A real 870 can be had for not much more than that.. I think it's well worth it given the differences (I mean, common. Chineese 870? for a truck gun of all things? Maybe for plinking, but no POS for applied use IMHO).

For that matter, check an auction site. Since you're probably not going to be overly concerned about condition, etc. for something you keep laying around, here's something even cheaper than a chicom replica and will probably work alot better:

Edit:
That's not my auction, I just posted that as an example of what to look for, if that's what you're after.

Yeah go with the above option instead of supporting the Chinese army.

I picked up one, paid 150 for it, and it came with a Surefire forend.  Cant really complain about the price.

Center Fire Systems is selling used Remington 870 Police guns for $129.00.
These could use a metal and stock refinish, but most police guns are handled a LOT, and shot seldom.

I have a friend who bought a used Police gun locally.  It had heavy blue wear, and a dented and battered stock.
He refinished the metal with some spray and bake Brownell's finish in a parkerized-like color, and refinished the wood.

It's virtually unworn mechanically, and now looks like a Factory-new $350.00 gun.

I have a norinco copy of the Ithaca.  Works fine, and looks great with a nice factory blueing job.

Yep, these things are cheap and cheaply made, but up here in Canada we can get them with leagal to carry 14" bbl.  Makes a great  Jeep gun, repelling borders that is.  Best of luck on the mag ban sunset.  R1
