Can regular slugs  be fired from a fully rifled barrel or should only sabots be used???

Regular rifled slugs can be used in a fully rifled barrel but they will not shoot as well and will foul the hell out of the barrel. If cost is a factor Remington came out with a new slug, the Buckhammer that is a little cheaper than most sabots. MIKE.
