My dad and bro both have 835s and the barrels seem to fit from those. I have not fired it like this yet, cause I'm not really sure if I should (835 = 3 1/2 inch chambered barrels). But they did fit and I could cycle the action in them. Anyone else know if this is ok?

You'd have to replace the mag tube with a shorter one to fit a 500 barrel.
You should be able to have the existing barrel adapted to handle a choke. Actually, I'm considering a Vang Comp for mine.

Send out a call for Hadaway. I think he has stated in the past that the 590 barrel is thick and can be threaded. MIKE.

IIRC, the 590A1 barrel is thicker and can handle a choke thread.
The 590 barrel is not as thick and won't be able to handle a thread. |
