Tell me about this shotgun.  I have the itch to trade out a couple of my short barreled 870's for one with the new ghost ring sight.  Would I be better with another brand?  Thoughts?  Pro/cons?  Thanks

I had one I shot in competition for a long time. They don't like to get dirty and they don't like light loads. Clean it and use high brass rounds and they work. I personally like the 1100 gas system better.

It will probably end up on the floor of the pickup, backseat, or back of the pickup. Cleaning might be a problem.  But it will always be fed 00B. Will  I have Issues.

I think IB means cleaning of the gas system. Last week I shot in a trap competition with a guy who had a 11-87 trap model. The gas system was dirtier than my 1100 but ran fine with proper maintenance. 11-87 are used in duck blinds. If they can survive there they can work anywhere. MIKE.
