Technically the Glock pictured is a model 32, but it's the same size as a 19.

I think the fairest comparison that can be made is that the FNS has a frame the size of a Glock 17 with the slide of a 19.

I think a more important question is, what is the trigger like?

Like a Glock?

Like the new Walther PPQ?

Like a S&W, which it most closely resembles?

Very curious about that aspect of it, as I already have an FNX-9, so picking up one of these would mean mag commonality with the FNX.

Understand that I'm on the FNH USA Professional Shooting Team, so take my opinion for what it's worth...but I really think its the best striker fired pistol on the market.  The man who ran the developement program is a Grand Master USPSA shooter and one of the top professional shooters in the Country.  He shoots custon built 1911 open guns with 16oz. triggers...Tommy knows what a good trigger is supposed to feel like.  The FNS trigger, out of the box, has the most crisp, 1911 like trigger I've ever felt.  The trigger has a slight amount of take up similar to a Glock, but has a very tight reset like a 1911.  You can ride the reset and shoot this pistol very fast and accurately.  It doesn't roll like a Glock trigger, it breaks more like a 1911.

I think it's going to be very well received.
