High Velocity can be hard on High Standards, some tendency for frame cracks. Check out the High Standard topic on rimfirecentral.com. I went back to strictly std velocity pretty quickly.

A little on the hot side for HS's especially if they are old and have tired recoil springs.
Stick with SV, good prices can be had if your school team is a CMP affiliated club. CMP Club Ammo |

Too hot, and swap out the springs on a regular basis anyhow.
