I just bought a S&W 22a at the local gun show, I haven't gotten it yet because Maryland sucks (7 Day wait), but I can tell that the sights are going to be hard to see. Has anyone here done anything to make them better? I don't want to just throw some white paint on it (I don't have a problem painting it if there was a way to make it look good). If you have a solution please add pics. I really liked the way it felt in my hand and the way it "pointed", the only problem I could see would be the sights. Thanks for any advise.

I cleaned mine with brake cleaner and then painted white  around the sights and it helps.

Do you have a pic looking down your sights? That's what I was thinking about doing, but I think I'd make more of a mess then anything else. Thanks for the input

I am working on the same project. I was in the hobby store couldnt decide on a paint. They had glow in the dark paint for night sights. Ill probably end up with a red dot or reflex sight.

So is acrylic the way to go over regular enamel? I'm thinking of just using white and trying to mask everything the best I can to keep from getting it everywhere.
