As with most other plastic holsters it should fit, but even if it didn’t it’s nothing a heat gun can’t usually fix. My best guess, without having the holster in front of me, is that you shouldn’t have any troubles.
Now with that in mind... we designed the rail to be as low profile as possible so it would fit into a “standard” holster yet still be able to accomplish the task of attaching the light to the gun should one require. However, sometimes this is simply not possible especially with some of the finer leather holsters being sewn today. A few good examples from Josh Bulman and Lou Alessi are show below...
... as one can see, due to the closely stitched contours around the dust-cover one may be hard pressed to squeeze the gun w/rail into some of the holsters shown above. Still any holster maker worth his salt can easily modify the contour of the holster to either accept the railed pistol or simply mold the holster for the guns new profile and I know that both of the holster makers show above can do this for the customer.
I don’t want to discourage you from installing the rail if that’s your need, I just want to make sure you have all the right information to make an informed decision and I would suggest that, as always, proper holster selection is paramount. Hope that helps.
