How are standard Ed Brown 1911 Parts different from the Hardcore ones?

They are not guaranteed for life, they are standard quality and they are cheaper. You get what you pay for. Charles the Gunsmith.

I've know about the guarantee, but physically...  are they both machined from bar stock, etc.?

Q: What are the physical differences between your "standard" and "hardcore" parts?  

A: The Hardcore line has a different heat treating process, and a lifetime guarantee. Thanks!
